Goodness and readiness to change is the only investment that never fails. It is with honor and privilege that I undertake the position of being the President of our great association in 2019-2020. It gives me ample opportunity to carry forward the legacy and great work by our past Presidents and their team.

It also gives me immense pleasure to be communicating to all of you from our exclusive official website for KPSA. I congratulate my team of office bearers, who took lot of pain and effort to accomplish our long cherished dream. This website is the product of our collective vision, a defined mission and months of earnest work.

As the world takes a pause due to the COVID-19 pandemic, we have been forced to postpone our 33 rd KPSCON-2020 which was scheduled to be held in Kannur. We endeavor to conduct the same, when circumstances are favorable, before the turn of the year.

As I pen down my words for you, we are being tested to our maximum capabilities, as humans and above that as doctors.

In the words of Isabel Allende,

‘We don’t even know how strong we are until we are forced to bring that hidden strength forward. In times of tragedy, of war and of necessity people do amazing things’.

I, sincerely, hope and pray that these words of wisdom hold true for every one of us, that we find it in ourselves to rise to the occasion when our time comes and above all that we all contribute to taking the Association to greater common realms of accomplishment.
